Husband and wife Josh & Lisa Puddle discovered kombucha on a trip to New York in 2016. Drinking it made them feel amazing and on return to the UK they decided to quit their jobs and dedicate themselves to brewing kombucha. Starting MOMO was their way of living healthier, more connected lives and they hope with every bottle of MOMO they can encourage people to do the same.

From the beginning they’ve made kombucha the old-fashioned, homemade way: in a small glass jar. It means they’re able to produce the tastiest and highest quality kombucha, which they brew and bottle from their London brewery.

MOMO is completely unfiltered for a fuller depth of flavour and always organic – better for you and better for the environment. It’s not easy making kombucha this way, but it’s worth it, and they have the awards to prove it. Each flavour won a 2022 Great Taste Award: 2-stars for the Ginger-Lemon and 1-star each for the Elderflower, Raspberry-Hibiscus, Turmeric and Limited-Edition Hops.

In 2022, MOMO was proud to become the highest scoring B Corp kombucha company in Europe. Some of the initiatives undertaken at MOMO include: 1) London Living Wage Employer; 2) 1% revenue pledge to charity; and 3) certified organic by the Soil Association.

Their bottles can be found in some amazing places including Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges, Planet Organic and Whole Foods Market and they are excited for Cotswold Fayre to introduce them to more amazing fridges all-round the UK.
