Catherine’s Originals began with a simple question:

“Can I create plant-based chocolate without compromising on taste, experience, the planet, beings or people? Hell yeah I can.”

Catherine had yet another holiday season filled with bland, boring chocolates. Vegan since age 18, she took matters into her own hands. Opted out of college when she was 18 and will full support from her family, started experimenting with chocolate.

What began as a homegrown passion for personal desire, quickly led into something much bigger. Other people wanted what Catherine wanted. Driven by flavour, values, and a whole lot of curiosity, Catherine set out to challenge everything we’ve come to expect from free-from chocolate. Today, our independent chocolate factory produces tens of thousands of chocolates every day. And heck, they taste pretty good.

Still proudly family-led and powered by a passionate team of seven, we’re growing fast and learning even faster. We’re committed to doing things differently and right by you.
