Founded in 1978 by Clare and Michael Marriage, Doves Farm began when they converted their North Wessex Downs arable farm to organic, planting their first organic wheat field in 1977. Driven by a passion for naturally and sustainably grown food that is farmed in harmony with nature, they became one of the first UK farms to go fully organic without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. In fact, Doves Farm is Soil Association licensee number four!

As a British family business, we’ve been pioneers of organic farming and have been milling quality organic and ancient grain flours with care for people and planet ever since. We’ve made delicious organic biscuits and breakfast cereals from our flour and also reintroduced some of the UK’s abandoned ancient grains, such as Spelt, Einkorn and Emmer, back to our soils.
