Founder Louise first discovered kombucha while travelling and fell in love with the tart, sweet & moreish taste. On her return to London, she began experimenting with homebrews using blends of different teas, natural ingredients. She began a kitchen operation where she would deliver small cases to people and restaurants on her bicycle and was soon approached by local businesses.

Over time, their brewery has progressed from Louise tiny kitchen to a tiny space in Hackney (lovingly referred to as ‘the cupboard under the stairs’), to a nano-brewery in Hackney Wick, to a micro-brewery before finally landing in our current micro-brewery site in Suffolk. Their mission remains the same: to create delicious, craft non-alcoholic drinks that are good for you & the planet.

Sustainability has been at the heart of the process since the very beginning. From ethically sourced & 100% natural ingredients to their sustainable production site run on 100% dark green energy fuelled by a biodigester, LA Brewery is proudly B Corp certified since 2022 as a company that uses business as a force of good.
