Artisan British Pasta: In 2019 Farmer’s daughter Kathryn realised there was a huge gap in the market for a British Pasta. Pasta made to a high standard, with British ingredients, not imported and packaged in Plastic - and founded The Yorkshire Pasta Company. The family business has a huge passion for artisan pasta, showing the UK the difference between mass manufactured supermarket 'pasta' and beautiful, sustainable, artisan pasta.

Authentic: Kathryn and her husband travelled around Italy learning from the Italian artisans how to make pasta traditionally and authentically. Their pasta is nothing like what you would find on the supermarket shelves.

Made in 2 days not 2 hours: Yorkshire Pasta’s award-winning products are dried slowly overnight at low temperatures, allowing the dough to gently mature and develop flavour. Each piece of pasta has a wonderfully rough surface created using real bronze – allowing sauces to be cuddled and absorbed, creating beautiful, cohesive dishes of food. No bright yellow, shiny pasta swimming around in the bottom of a bowl here!

Sustainable: The team package their artisan pasta in gorgeous recyclable paper bags. As they simply use water and locally milled wheat flour their products can be enjoyed by vegans and vegetarians and are free from stabilisers and preservatives. Yorkshire Pasta HQ is run using solar energy and any food waste is given to happy cattle.

Since launching in 2020 they have appeared on James Martin, have been raved about by Marco Pierre White and Davina McCall. They have won awards – including two Great Taste and Kathryn is a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards!

Their premium British pastas are stocked in over 500 independent shops, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols and appear on some incredible Michelin Recommended restaurant menus.
