After years of living in the US, they had become accustomed to making fresh Ice Tea as their go to drink. It’s a healthy drink that quenched their thirst, cooled them down and kept them going all day. But the problem they found was when they were on the go. Every bottled tea they tried was full of sugar, artificial ingredients and didn’t taste like tea.

So, they started on a journey to create a proper British Ice Tea, made only using the finest tea, natural ingredients and a lot less sugar. The name Harry Brompton’s comes from their Grandfather, Harold “Brompton” Cobb, a Londoner born and bred. Harry worked as a Waterman on the Thames from 1926-1994 they loved his stories (and he told many!) of sailing and unloading ships carrying wonderful foods, fruits, spices and teas from all over the world to the London docks. He would never be without a large mug of tea, hot or cold, keeping him on go, even during the dark days of the Blitz.
