Our founder Charlie Beldam started Cotswold Gold in 2010. It was born out of a desire to create a high-quality, British alternative to imported olive oils. What began as a small-scale operation on Charlie’s third-generation family farm in Broadway, Worcestershire, we quickly gained recognition for our outstanding flavour, natural golden colour, and versatility in the kitchen.

Using only the finest rapeseed grown on our farm, we cold-press the seeds just once to retain their natural goodness and rich, nutty taste. Our Original Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil remains at the heart of the range, now joined by a growing selection of infused oils, sauces, mayonnaises, butters, and drizzles, all designed to elevate everyday cooking.

Today, Cotswold Gold is stocked in farm shops, delis, and fine food retailers across the UK and is used by leading chefs including those at Michelin-starred restaurants. We've also been featured on Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen as one of her "Food Heroes". A proud moment that reflects our dedication to provenance, quality, and innovation.
