Making a Difference Together
We believe successful businesses have a responsibility to make a positive difference in the communities around them.
Giving back has been an important part of Cotswold Fayre's values since 2011. Over the years, we've supported a wide range of charities and projects in the UK and beyond through fundraising events, company donations and team initiatives.
In 2023, we formalised this work through the creation of the Cotswold Fayre Charitable Trust (CFCT), providing greater structure, transparency and accountability to our charitable giving.
As a registered charity (1203229), the Trust helps us create meaningful and lasting impact by supporting projects that tackle poverty and promote sustainability.
why we created the trust
Since 2011, charitable giving has been an important part of Cotswold Fayre's values.
From fundraising events and company donations to team-led initiatives, we've always sought to support causes that make a positive difference. As our charitable giving grew, we wanted to ensure that funds were distributed thoughtfully, transparently and where they could have the greatest impact.
The creation of the Cotswold Fayre Charitable Trust in 2023 provided a dedicated framework for achieving this, helping us make more informed decisions about where funding is directed and how impact is measured.
The Trust also enables suppliers, customers and partners to support meaningful projects through a shared commitment to giving back.
The Trust exists to support projects that relieve poverty, strengthen communities and promote sustainability.
Since its formation, the Trust has supported a growing number of charitable initiatives, helping direct funding to projects with clear outcomes and measurable impact. To date, before and after the creation of the trust, Cotswold Fayre has donated more than £350,000 to charitable causes
Our ambition is to continue growing this work, with a commitment to donate 9% of profits in 2026-27 and 10% in 2027-28.
