Earlier this year, LittlePod were winners of the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. Janet and Olly were given the great honour of being invited to Buckingham Palace to celebrate this great achievement.

In July, LittlePod held their own garden party to celebrate, and formally receive the award from the Lord Lieutenant. Upon the award being presented, the sun came and chased away the rain, and the hottest British summer this decade began!

LittlePod were invited to take part in Honiton’s “Gate to Plate” event, along with numerous other local foods and drink businesses. Thanks to the award, HRH Prince Charles came to visit their stand and learn about LittlePod and real vanilla. When offered a LittlePod gift pack, he said “Would you mind?”, promising he would use it at home!

This September, why not join LittlePod at the magical Bickleigh Castle who are hosting a celebratory dinner in recognition of our achievement. Find the event details and tickets here : http://ow.ly/rBnd30lrxpz

LittlePod have had a fantastic year, and this prestigious award is only going to help them grow further, and affect more change in the campaign for real vanilla. This October, make sure you take part in National Real Vanilla day, and join them in donating to the amazing charity Blue Ventures. More details here: https://blueventures.org/

“Isn’t it fantastic, that a tiny company in a village in East Devon can reach out and impact on the world whilst doing social good at home.” Lord Lieutenant David Fursdon, 2018
