About Us
History
Cotswold Fayre was started by Paul Hargreaves in the Early Nineties originally as the distribution arm of a number of small Cotswold based companies. With the tremendous growth of interest in high quality products that are not available in the multiples during this time, Cotswold Fayre has grown and developed considerably.
We now supply over 1000 customers - mainly farm shops, delicatessens, garden centres, cafes, gift shops and restaurants with around 1,500 product lines from over 120 different suppliers. These suppliers are all speciality producers mainly producing great food in the UK, but now some are from as far away as New Zealand and South Africa.

Customer Service & Deliveries
Cotswold Fayre aprides itself on a high level of friendly customer service. Our experienced offi ce staff are always on hand to answer any questions and offer advice on our products. Other services include:
- A regular phone call to check if you need an order.
- You will have a regular delivery day based on area - please call the offi ce to find out when this is. Orders can be placed up to lunch-time on the day before delivery
- Sales visits are available from our experienced Field Sales Team who can show you new products and offer advice on merchandising and how to develop the range in-store.
- Cotswold Fayre has the most comprehensive trade website for speciality food in the UK - www.cotswoldfayre.co.uk and you can use this to place your orders. Our sales team is backed up by our offi ce customer service team - any items out of stock will be advised by a phone call the day before delivery and alternative products suggested if appropriate.
- Promotions are offered regularly and many suppliers are happy to come and do tastings of their products in-store just give us a call to arrange this.
- Our head offi ce in Oxfordshire has within it a showroom where all our products are on display. You are welcome to visit by appointment or come to one of our regular Open Days.
- We also participate regularly at trade shows in particular those sponsored by the Guild of Fine Food Retailers

Credit Accounts
All regular customers are welcome to open an account after 3 months trading or 6 orders with us. We ask for a bank reference and 2 trade referees. All customers who have not had an account opened will be expected to pay by cash or cheque on delivery. We are, of course, happy to supply our bank details for customers paying by BACS.
NOTE: You must download the Account Request PDF document, print it, fill it in with your company information and post it to Cotswold Fayre. Cotswold Fayre require a signiture from a company member to process your account.
Once you have opened a credit account with us, our terms are 30 days net - if these terms are consistently not adhered to the customer will revert back to cash or cheque on delivery or pro forma invoice.
